I have a couple of questions that are probably super simple:

First, how do you spawn bipeds in Halo 3 and Halo Reach that aren't labeled as friendly? It's not too much of a problem for Halo 3, but in Halo Reach you get punished for killing spawned bipeds because they're on your team.

Also, how do you spawn bipeds and have them actually show up in Halo 4? I can spawn a Spartan but they're always invisible, with just their gun showing.

They are friendly because you are spawning them with projectile swaps. Spawning them through effects will stop this.

The Halo 4 spartan's default variant is "chief", which the data for it is not present in MP maps. You'll have to change the default variant in the bipd to an MP one. You can see all the variants at the top of hlmt.

Nope.

What about by using playerpressedbutton and then reducing the monitor movement speed and turn radius?

Shouldn't be a problem if only 1 player is forging. There has to be a way to change monitor speed...

Just adjust your controller sensitivity. I suppose if you found the right incident you could check for a player button, but the problem is that Forge can only handle the Incident trigger, so it's much harder to do this sort of stuff. You can do some trick to say "entered a teleporter on channel Yankee, set slow traits", and "entered a teleporter on channel Zulu, disable traits", but that's all I can think of. Entered teleporter would be your incident, obviously. The issue here is I don't know whether if you can continually apply traits outside of the incident trigger.

Well, I didn't try any other trigger's u know, if that helps. Only ones in the file at the time were HM,PG,Incident, & one other one except for local.

Hey guys

Wondering if anyone knows how to mod the single player Field of View in Halo 3, 4 or Reach.

Here's a screenshot of it modded in 4 but I don't think the guy ever released it, he says it's an XeX mod http://imgur.com/a/VBd5p

Low FoV gives me headaches so I'd love to be able to play one of my favourite series in a more comfortable way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In the BIPD tag of Master Chief/Spartan, it is either labeled "Field of View" or "FOV". You can use the search bar at the top and modify the value as you please.

Grab the latest version of Assembly here: http://builds.xeraxic.com/assembly/release/master/

Thanks a lot

Okay so I grabbed the first map from Halo 3, unticked read only, put it in Assembly, edited the FOV, saved, made it read only again, but now when I try to load the map it says "Players failed to load content". All the other maps work.

Is there something else I need to do?

Yep, you'll need to run your default.xex through this so hash checks are disabled and modified content will be able to be played.

Here's ODST, Reach, and Halo 4 if you plan on modding those also.

Ugh, sorry for all the questions I got Halo 3 and ODSTs FOV modded perfect, but in Halo Reach and Halo 4 it says "Players failed to load content".

I've tried patching the default .xex's multiple times making sure that they're not read-only. I'm not using any title updates and I'm using the right version.

I think it might be me trying to mod the FOV in the wrong place maybe? Here's a screenshot of a map from Reach I'm trying http://i.imgur.com/uDBz2lZ.png

In 3 and ODST the FOV value is default at 70 and 80 respectively but in Reach and 4 they're 0 by default, that's why I think I might be editing the wrong part... But I can't see any other possibilities.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Fixed thanks to Zythara

How do you view cutscenes in theater?

The same way Zedd did for Halo 3 and Gamecheat did for Halo Reach.

Apparently, it involves forced checkpoints, but how do you go about doing these?

In [scnr] there is a reflective called "scripts"

In there you disable all scripts

and set the cinematic script to startup.

Im new to KSoft and have yet to see a good tut on Weapon tuning, would really like to understand how it works. Like what part of the code controls weapon damage, rate of fire, bloom, spread, auto aim..ect

I,m also having trouble finding all the weapons, only a few are there like br, ar, magnum, and lmg but that it for bot one barrel and two.

Thank you.
