1) You can't use this if you only have a transfer device. As this program is about as useful to you as a but-plug.

It says up top Alteration.exe - .NET Framework Initialization error.

Please install .NET Framwork Runtime: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en

Make sure to also right click, run as admin.

Most likely some other program is trying to access it then. I don't know what the problem is then.

Alright im having a problem with alteration myself. ill try to explain it as the picture i will provide doesnt show much. I have Windows 7 btw. And yes i do run it as administrator and this is what happens. it opens just fine then when i click one of the tabs at the top, like file, it freezes then makes 3 other windows of the program each of which is a small line here is the picture:

my halo maps arent [map name].map, how do i make them or get them to be .map?

You can either get .map files from an ISO, or from Xbox game files. No direct links here though, google it.
