All right guys, I figured it out! What I did... *Have to download PC version of Skyrim, and ALL of the DLCs you are using on your Xbox to avoid losing DLC content like quests, houses, children, etc. * From Xbox to PC: 1) Copy save from Xbox to USB. 2) Open Xbox save on USB with Horizon on PC. 3) Used Horizon to make a copy of Savegame.dat from the Xbox save .exs file. 4) Renamed the Savegame.dat file to Savegame.ess. 5) Put new Savegame.ess into my Skyrim save folder on PC. 6) Opened the save in Skyrim on my PC. All though I did die instantly on my Xbox, I was still barely alive on the PC, so before I died I used the console command "COC Whiterun" to teleport me to an area near Whiterun. From PC to Xbox: 1) After surviving, I saved. 2) I exited Skyrim, and renames the new save in my Skyrim save folder to Savegame.dat. 3) Used Horizon to open the original .exs save I got from the Xbox. 4) Used Horizon to replace the original Savegame.dat with the new one I made. 5) Saved, rehashed and resigned with Horizon. 6) Used Horizon to delete old save on the USB, and add the new Xbox .exs save. 7) Loaded it up on the Xbox. Worked like a charm! Very important to use Horizon and not Modio. I did this exact same process with Modio and came up with the error I described above. Thanks for the help! Cheers.

I will upload my save file, appreciate any help given. What I tried to do is download the Razor 1911 version of Skyrim for the PC, then I used console commands to fix my self. It worked perfectly, but when I try and load it on the Xbox I get the error, "This save is version 0, and the current version is 9." I will also upload this file. Could it be because I do not have the DLCs installed on the PC version of Skyrim? Xbox save where I die... http://www.mediafire.com/?l393b5ddx8apbzx Xbox save created from fixed PC save... http://www.mediafire.com/?eh79tr99udnged8 Thanks! *EDIT* Tried to remove the DLCs, then deleted all the content Skyrim related on my Xbox, let it update to latest version, checked PC version, it's the latest, and still would not load.
  3. I'm on a regular Xbox, has not been modded, I bought Skyrim a few weeks ago and that's all I've done since. Unfortunately, this morning as is customary I deleted all my old saves when arriving in a new place, not realizing that I was about to save in a place where I was going to die. Long story short, I deleted all of my saves except for one, and I die instantly when I load it. I have a LOT of hours invested in the character, so if I don't get him back I'm probably just going to opt out and sell the game. As a last resort, I came on here to see if there was a way to recover my saves, or someway to mod my save file so that I can you know, live. Haha. I have a copy if anyone knows how. Thanks in advanced.
