  1. Hey there. I'm struggling a bit to figure out what needs to be done to add Guta (and the others in the title) into Firefight maps on the 360. MCC is a thing, I know, but I'm wanting to do it on the 360 mostly for the novelty. Lord Zedd was able to do this on the 360 with the Guta, and I feel like I'm getting close, but at the moment the map freezes when they're spawning in. As far as I can tell, the guide to follow for this would be this guide here, but I'm not so sure at this point. Anyway, I'll continue playing with settings and things and hope I just luck into it. If anyone wants to lend a hand or point me in a direction, I'd like the help.
  2. i've ftp'd extracted files from disc 1 to hdd1/games/halo 4 and ftp'd the content stuff from disc 2 to hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/4D530919/00000002 campaign works and wargames works. i then tried to do the offline spartan ops mod, i've unlocked the dlc but on the menu it won't load a map, says content missing. any ideas? edit, i put the info / images in the maps folder, but am i supposed to extract all the maps and other content to the game folder? i tried that and the spops map load but i can't spawn it just sits on respawn 0 with d-pad icon up / down edit #2 saw this old thread https://www.xboxchaos.com/topic/3219-how-to-play-on-spartan-ops-maps/ so i guess only some of the maps work? was this ever fixed? if not i'll just continue to play them on the mcc. i only just got my 360 slim modded so this is new to me.

    Hey people xboxchaos (all three of you), I am not far away from releasing the first version of one of my Firefight mods for Reach, but I am having a lot of trouble dissecting the chdt files. I have generally been able to tweak and test other things until I get a grasp of how they are controlled, but I am having a lot of trouble trying to make a weapon like the Plasma Repeater keep its crosshair when zoomed. I was able to figure out how to do this for Halo 2, but they have changed a lot of the block structure since then. Any advice is welcome.
  4. I am following the Lone Wolf .map file for figuring out how they attached extra trailers. I am missing something because nothing shows up for me. I am trying to attach like four mounted machine guns to the semi-truck with bed_long_container. The attached image shows the area that I think is relevant, but there must be like one more step that I am missing. 1) How do I choose the position the object goes? It seems like I can add a node or hitch point or something and use that as a reference for the object. 2) what am I missing? 3) Happy New Year I will write a short guide if someone tells me so people can figure it out without asking questions.   5. I tried the ltvl tag sect. but Im not getting any luck changing any of the colors. This is on Master Chief version of Halo reach. I tried the tints in Arguments in ltvl but nothing changes. I been trying to figure this out for awhile but no luck. If anyone can help out, that would be sweet.

Extracting the marine jmad from m20.map and injecting into Forge World causes a fatal error when map is loading, but I imagine I'm doing something wrong (I also see that many other tags such as Grunts, Jackals, etc are automatically included when extracting, I'm assuming this is normal?)   9. I've been trying to extract some tags from the Halo 4 TU8 maps (eg onyx_patch.map) and later inject them into the base Halo 4 maps. However, when I try to extract anything from the title update maps, I get a null reference exception in Assembly (latest dev branch with the Halo 4 prediction resource fixes). I assume the issue might be related to it requiring a shared.map and mainmenu.map to fully extract tags, however I can't use the ones from the base maps. So am I missing something to be able to extract the TU maps? Or is there another way to extract those tags?

  11. Started xbe file with mode applied. Unfortunately, freezing occurred every time Cortana appeared in the 4-player split screen Coop campaign. Is there a way to solve this symptom of freezing?

    Well so I'm trying to make Elite AI to replace certain Brute squads. While it does work for some encounters, it just doesn't for others. This is done on Crow's Nest btw, as most encounters I modified for Sierra 117 did work. For example, attempting to replace a squad of Brutes inside the barracks works fine for the most part and it also did good with the jumppack Brutes (replaced with Spec Ops Elites). But when I try to replace the Jackals in the hangar with Elites, they just don't spawn. I also tried to replace the final Brute Bodyguards with Elites, but the same effect. They just don't spawn. What is making this happen? Or what am I doing wrong? Because it works for certain encounters in the level but those specific ones just... well, don't work. I even added them to specific Designer Zonesets but they still don't spawn there.
  13. The title says it all. I want to make the Brute Plasma Rifle (and other plasma weaponry), but the problem I have is regarding the projectiles as they're still blue. What needs to be modified in order to make the bolts red (or any other color)?
  14. How can this be done? I'm wanting to just flying around by some AI in Forge mode, but they keep attacking me no matter what setting I try to find and edit. Any way to disable their combat towards JUST players? Would be sweet.

    Hey, so I've been having these issues for quite a while and I'm hoping that there's some way around the issue, or at the very least an idea as to what the cause of the issue is. I've been working on a new version of my old Forge World mod (known mostly as forerunner.map or Forge World Ultimate). For this rework I'm using the latest development build of Assembly (March 22 as of writing) as the latest release build hasn't been updated since 2017. For injections, I've been using the new "Extract List" feature to grab things. It's nice, but I'm starting to meet up with the same issue I had in the past. As time goes on and I inject more things, I keep running into things breaking. It's a bit different than before, though. Where in the past old content would mysteriously break, now it's backwards - newly injected content seems to stop working. Even simple things like render models don't want to inject properly. A couple other notes, I was having some crashing issues when injecting things in bulk, but when I split it into a couple of tag collections everything actually injects fine. The filesize for the new version is only 224MB, and I've seen other maps that are much larger in size that work with no issues. Is this just an inherent issue with these sorts of mods? Is there something that actually causes it besides just "too many injections"? I've been wanting to make a better version of the map, and while it's seemingly been coming along nicely, this issue has been a long-standing issue and I'd like to know how or if I can get around this and make this thing be what I want it to be instead of being held back by mysterious limitations.

Hello everyone, I'm currently trying to make brutes customizable and playable in multiplayer and I'm stuck on trying to make the different parts of armour change when selecting a different option. I also want to fix the animation as the brute is currently t-posing. I'm also using Xenia which is an emulator so if anyone knows how to make poking work that would also be much appreciated.   20. So i have successfully gotten the phantom and spirit into the forge pallet and gotten them to spawn however when I drop them they fall through the map and cannot be flown. I have tried looking around in assembly but cant find anything that works. Any solutions?
  21. Have you ever seen this video? Does anyone know how to do this? That, and also to make certain characters invisible? It would be good to make some Machinima with armour not available in Halo Reach. Such as Hayabusa, Rogue, all other Elite armour and/or Arby (the last not necessary as one can play Co-op to make him appear).
  22. i recently downloaded Gamecheat13's Club Errera i loaded up firefight it goes to 40% then stops and says players failed to load content i have disabled cont-patch in dash launch and i have a modded xex and still doesn't work any way to fix this??

    So I have had issues with just about everything relating to Campaign Injection (injected content myself and even Club Errera map by gamecheat crashed). After building a clean ISO off the disc and trying to do a NoTU patch onto a clean build the map still didn't load, so I WAS going to try and do a title update but the site for TU's are down. Is there anywhere else I can get Title Updates?
