Damn Halo 3 mods are so much cooler than Reach...

Good job!

its basically the same game. the only difference is, that reach´s tags are encrypted, so it´s more difficult to mod the game. give me 30min and i could create a similar mod in reach. random shader and particle swaps (thanks to zedd) are easy.

im with snipe here on this, the games have the same potential. the only difference is halo 3 had everything named out for you already by other modders and the bungie so people had an easier time so they made random mods. this can be done in reach all the same even with the encrypted tags and the few thigns already named in the plugins. but in order to make a truelly good mod you actually have to take the time to know what your doing and find out stuff in the game.

as well if you are compairing some thigns like how there is so few reach tutorials. thats becase i never wanted to rewrite all of my tutorials to be in a new programs cause they are the exact same process in both. the games do the same thing. you just have to want to mod it.

I know they're basically the same, but without most, if not all tags named, you can do a lot less... For now of course.

I really wish I was into modding when Halo 2 was, well... Played a lot.

Particle swaps? Where, how, TELL ME NOW!

Edit: Oh 0.039's out, hehe.

Nevermind I got it. :)
