I am fallowing the picture step by step. It should work it was made by Xenon... I am adding this tag to Zanzibar.map " forerunner_ship " Ok need to get autodesk 3ds MAX O.O It is 10.0GB

Oh well its not so private anymore... found this on the website " Originally created just for Wmclan Members, then released to the Halomodding.com community, I give you xTraction. xTraction is a fun little user friendly application that allows you to rip models and textures from Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST. It started off as a joke but turned into a big hit. Just load up the program, load up a map, and have fun! "

    The program?
  4. General

Check this out... I think this may be able to extract tags from other maps and load them into another O.O https://xboxdb.access.win-serv.net/0000000001/files-DB/web/Default.asp.net?act=view&id=215
  5. OK here is what I would do. 1. Put Halo 2 in the disc tray 2. Go into XeXMenu or FSD and rip the disc 3. Place all of the DLC into the maps folder 4.Have Fun! (Note: You have to get the latest TU, so before you do any of this put the HDD you want Halo 2 on in a retail Xbox 360, Connect to Xbox LIVE, put Halo 2 in and download the TU.) Oh and if you need to download the DLC (.Map) go here to do so. https://xboxdb.access.win-serv.net/0000000001/files-DB/web/Default.asp.net?act=category&id=3
  6. Back up! Downloading every .Map... Starting with Halo 2 and ending with REACH!!!
  7. Dead if you find out, send me a PM. I hope it is just temporary not perm...
  8. Thanks, If it is temp let me know when it will be back up. I'm going to make my own archive of all .maps
  9. I need a good site to download .map files for Halo REACH, I had a good site until... well uh, it now has a 404 error. And I need a good website to download the unmodded .map files. The link I used is: https://xboxdb.acces...=category&id=18 The strange thing is the main site is still up: http://www.access.wi...Default.asp.net Anyway... if you have a good site to download the .maps please post a reply!
  10. New RGH Coming In Soon!

  11. I got one, its an error when I select anything in the [mach] - machine tag It reads... " 'True is an unexpected token. Expecting white space. Line 217, position 46. " ************** Exception Text ************** System.Xml.XmlException: 'True' is an unexpected token. Expecting white space. But it is still showing across all .map's I am using Alteration v0.053 btw

Thanks, and how is your dry forge world coming along?
  13. I am not sure if I am missing a plugin or not, I downloaded Lord Zedd's Ascension plugin pack. When I go to the [hlmt] tag in m45.map I see the Identifier, Example: 0x800C18CC But if I open up forge_halo.map I see the names, Example: objects\characters\spartans\spartans. I think this is a tag issue but I am new so I'm not too positive about that. This is making it very hard to find the spartan hlmt to enable invincibility in campaign maps. Anyone have an answer?

Thanks, can you tell me the name and what it is under for the other one that removes all death zones? Never mind I found it, It is called **Disable Death Barriers**. Thanks anyway

I am new to Halo REACH .map modding and i need some help removing the elastic barriers in the maps. I am in the [sddt] tag and in the tag editor I see under soft barriers, X extent, Y extent, and Z extent. I am very new to this. Do I just set all 3 to 0 because they are all set at the moment. X extent: -346.9989 Y extent: -69.95428 Z extent: -14.39216 .:TO:. X extent: 0 Y extent: 0 Z extent: 0 Or, I have heard that under Options you show invisibles then you set all of the "Unknown" to 0 Also I was messing around in the [scnr] Tag and under Sky I see this... **Disable Barriers and Underwater** That is set to "<unknown>(7)" If I change it to "True" Will it remove the death barriers and the "return to battlefield" zones? ( That is not a big deal I have invincibility : / )
